Dr Smita Srivastava

Dr Smita Srivastava is a senior consultant psychiatrist with over two decades of experience in clinical psychiatry, psychotherapy and geriatric mental health. She completed her postgraduate training from the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi. She served as Senior Resident in the Department of Geriatric Mental Health at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow and subsequently established Lucknow Psychiatry Centre in 2007. Dr Srivastava has extensive experience managing depression, anxiety disorders, stress-related conditions, addiction disorders and geriatric psychiatric illnesses. She is actively involved in mental health awareness programmes and regularly spreads awareness through social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Her clinical focus includes comprehensive psychiatric assessment, psychotherapy, stress management and consultation-liaison psychiatry supporting multidisciplinary medical care.
